“We Didn’t Want to Fix a Broken System, So We Created Our Own.” Meet the 70 Families Building Their Own Safe Haven — 5,000 Acres of Hope Called ‘Freedom, Georgia.’

When the system wouldn’t change, they built their own. 💪🏾

A group of 70 Black families joined forces to buy 5,000 acres of land in Georgia — creating a self-sustaining, safe, and thriving community called Freedom, Georgia. 🌍🏡

Led by Ashley Scott and Renee Walters, this movement was born from frustration with systemic injustice — and fueled by a vision of autonomy, prosperity, and generational legacy. 🙏🏾

This is what unity, purpose, and power look like. 💯
