Sheryl Lee Ralph Recognized by TIME for Her Influence and Advocacy

Actress and activist Sheryl Lee Ralph has been named one of TIME’s Women of the Year, honoring her decades-long influence in entertainment and advocacy.

Ralph first rose to prominence in the original Broadway production of Dreamgirls and is currently celebrated for her role on Abbott Elementary.

Beyond acting, she founded the DIVA Foundation and has spent more than three decades raising awareness about HIV/AIDS and supporting affected communities.
