🛑 HOW TO TURN OFF LOCATION SHARING ON INSTAGRAM

Instagram now lets you share your real-time location when messaging — and it updates every time you open the app.
Here’s how to turn it OFF:
đź“ŤStep-by-Step Instructions:
1. Tap Messages (top right of your feed)
2. Tap Map (top of your inbox)
3. Tap Settings (top right of the map screen)
4. Choose who you want to share your location with — or select “Don’t share with anyone”
5. Tap Update at the bottom to save your settings
⏳Things to Know:
• Your location refreshes every time you open Instagram
• It disappears after 24 hours… unless you open the app again
• You can only share with accounts you follow
🧠MAP ICON LEGEND:
• 🔵 Blue Arrow: You ARE sharing your location
• 🔴 Red Dot: You are NOT sharing your location
• 🟠Orange Triangle: You need to enable permissions on your phone
