Kenyan Woman Wins Major Inheritance Case After DNA Confirms Her Paternity

A decade-long legal battle over inheritance has ended with a DNA test — and a court ruling.

A Kenyan court officially recognized Chepkoech Too as the biological daughter of the late politician and businessman Mark Kiptoo arap Too after DNA testing confirmed her paternity.

The decision ended years of legal disputes over whether she had the right to be included among the beneficiaries of his estate.

Mark Too’s estate has been reported to be worth more than $50 million, including farmland, real estate, vehicles, and company shares across several counties in Kenya.

The ruling does not mean she receives the entire fortune, but it legally recognizes her right to claim a share as part of the family — a major victory after nearly a decade in court.
