Jada Pinkett Smith shared a behind-the-scenes photo revealing the trailer nameplate for her iconic character Lena James, the bold Hillman student she portrayed on the classic series A Different World.
The post comes as a new sequel series is reportedly in development that will introduce a new generation of Hillman students, centered around the daughter of Dwayne Wayne and Whitley Gilbert, originally played by Kadeem Hardison and Jasmine Guy.
The project is expected to honor the legacy of the groundbreaking HBCU series while bringing familiar faces back into the story.
