Mother and daughter graduate from Birmingham School of Law despite overwhelming obstacles. Their journey to the finish line was challenging at times and very grim for Edriuna Davis (daughter) after giving birth to her son Denver.
Daphne Davis enrolled in law school in 2017 as her daughter was finishing up at Tuskegee University. She says she had to withdraw from school due to financial issues.
After Edriuna earned a political science degree at Tuskegee, she started working for a Jefferson County judge and was accepted into the Birmingham School of Law. That sparked her mother’s interest to return to law school.
