After 58 years of bringing groundbreaking education and entertainment to millions of children and adults, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting has officially shut down.
This is a truly sad time for America. Public broadcasting shaped so many of our childhoods, our learning, and our culture. I still hold onto hope that one day things will be better, and that we will value education and public media the way we should.
