Rotimi Kukoyi Turns Down Harvard And Yale After Securing $2M In Scholarships

Alabama’s Rotimi Kukoyi turned academic excellence into more than $2 million in scholarship offers and acceptance to 15 prestigious universities, including Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Duke, and Johns Hopkins.

Rather than choosing one of the Ivy League schools, Kukoyi selected UNC Chapel Hill, where he pursued public health through the prestigious Morehead-Cain Scholarship.

What makes his story even more powerful is what he wants to do with that education: help address health inequities and create greater opportunities for underserved communities.

Achievement is impressive. Using it to open doors for others? That’s legacy.

📚✨ Big congratulations to Rotimi Kukoyi!
