Happy Independence Day To The People Of Burkino Faso

On August 5, 1960, the nation of Burkino Faso, known then as Upper Volta broke free from French colonial rule. Today, Burkina Faso continues to rise—undaunted and determined.

Despite decades of political unrest and foreign interference, the spirit of the people remains unshaken. Under the bold leadership of Captain Ibrahim Traoré, the country is reclaiming its power, protecting its natural wealth, and writing a new chapter rooted in sovereignty, strength, and self-determination.

This Independence Day, we honor not only the past—but the future that is being fearlessly forged. ✊🏾🌍
