At just 12 years old, Bahia Bakari survived one of the most devastating plane crashes of our time — the 2009 Yemenia Airways disaster that killed 152 people. With no life jacket and unable to swim, she clung to floating debris in the Indian Ocean for 9 agonizing hours, listening as the voices of other survivors slowly faded.
Bahia was the only survivor.
Her story is not just about endurance — it’s about unimaginable courage, faith, and the will to live.
A reminder that even in the darkest moments, the human spirit can be unbreakable. ✨
