We love this 👏🏽❤️✈️🇬🇭✊🏾 As reported by Enve Online, Anton Moore, founder of Unity in the Community, a Philadelphia-based organization, recently led 20 kids from Philly on a journey to Ghana with the support of 12 volunteer chaperones.
Unity in the Community, an anti‑gun violence organization that teaches trade skills to at‑risk teens, visited a recycled plastic facility in Ghana, where old plastics are transformed into useful products for schools-like booths-and many other creative, practical items.
“Today here in Ghana our boys had the opportunity to collaborate with @mckingtorchafrica to build desks for students that attend school in Ghana, built a shed out of recycled plastic and lastly the boys created art work for bus shelters here in Ghana!
We had an amazing time filled with laughter and smiles, and our youth gained valuable new skills to bring back to Philadelphia.”
