Inspired by Whitney’s iconic look from the “I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)” music video.
The doll recreates her signature ’80s style, including the voluminous curls, purple dress, statement earrings, and a microphone with stand. The project was developed in collaboration with Pat Houston, who manages Whitney’s estate.
The doll officially launched on August 9, 2026, just ahead of what would have been Whitney’s 63rd birthday. It’s a beautiful tribute to an artist whose voice and influence continue to reach new generations.
