Senegal has been officially stripped of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 title, with Morocco declared champions following a ruling by the Confederation of African Football.
The decision came after Senegal were deemed to have forfeited the final due to a walk-off protest during the match, leading CAF to overturn the original 1–0 result to a 3–0 victory for Morocco.
Senegal has since announced plans to appeal the decision, calling it “unfair and unprecedented.”
