Doechii Launches Mental Health Resources After Her Own Experience with Anxiety

Doechii’s personal journey with anxiety has not only influenced her chart-topping music but has also inspired her to launch a broader mission to help others.

Over the past year, the Grammy-winning rapper has become a household name, captivating audiences with her electrifying performances and viral hits. One of those songs, Anxiety, first emerged as a rap she recorded in her bedroom for YouTube in 2019 before being released on her self-produced mixtape, Coven Music Sessions. Even before its official release earlier this month, the song had already resonated online, reflecting Doechii’s own struggles with anxiety.

On Friday, March 28, Doechii took to Instagram to announce the launch of Anxiety is Watching Me—a mental health hub named after lyrics from her song—designed as a resource for those navigating anxiety.

“Having faced the challenges of anxiety firsthand, Doechii is using her platform to offer guidance, tools, and a sense of community for those on a similar journey,” reads the website. (www.anxietyiswatchingme.com)

Sharing the news with her followers, Doechii wrote, “Thank you for all the support you’ve given my song Anxiety—now let me support YOU.”
