Big Sean & Usher Invest $1M to Transform Detroit’s Youth Innovation Future
Detroit is getting a major creative boost. Usher and Big Sean have jointly invested $1 million to launch the Detroit Entertainment Innovation Incubator, a new youth-focused hub opening in February 2026.
The incubator will be housed inside the new Michigan Central BGCSM Club, located in The Station at Michigan Central’s 30-acre innovation district. Designed to empower Detroit’s next generation of creators and technologists, the hub will include:
✨ Virtual production + special effects labs
✨ A creators lounge and studio space
✨ Technology, arts, and entrepreneurial training
This initiative is backed by a powerhouse coalition:
• Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan
• Usher’s New Look®
• Sean Anderson Foundation
• Ilitch Sports + Entertainment
• Emory University’s Goizueta Business School
For Detroit’s youth, this isn’t just a new building — it’s a pathway into the future of innovation, entertainment, and creative careers. 🌆💡
