After Winning a Racial Discrimination Lawsuit Against His Employer, a Black Man Faced Discrimination Again When a Bank Refused to Cash His Settlement Check and Called the Police

After winning a racial discrimination lawsuit against his employer, Sauntore Thomas, a 44-year-old Air Force veteran, took his settlement checks to the bank — only to face discrimination again. 😔

When he tried to deposit them, the bank refused, claiming the checks looked “suspicious” and even called the police. The checks were real — and cleared the next day at another bank. 💔

Thomas has since filed a second lawsuit, this time against the bank, demanding justice and accountability. ✊🏾

How many times must we prove our worth before being believed? 💭
