Juventus Duorinaah has officially become the first deaf lawyer to be called to the Bar in October 2024 — a moment that redefines inclusion and representation in Ghana’s legal system.
Born with a hearing impairment, Juventus faced immense communication and learning challenges but never gave up. Through perseverance and passion, he graduated from the University of Ghana School of Law and made history.
“Deaf people can achieve anything if given equal opportunity,” he shared after his groundbreaking accomplishment — a message that echoes far beyond the courtroom.
