Delta State University student, 21-year-old Demartravion “Trey” Reed of Grenada, Mississippi, was found hanging from a tree near the pickleball courts on the DSU campus at approximately 7:05 a.m. Monday.
Officials say there is currently “no evidence of foul play”, though the death remains under active investigation by DSU Police, the Bolivar County Coroner’s Office, and the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation.
All centennial events and classes were canceled for the day.
