Some Lowe’s employees are set to receive bonuses of up to $10,000.
The Mooresville-based home improvement retailer is distributing $80 million in discretionary bonuses, CEO Marvin Ellison announced during the company’s fourth-quarter earnings call.
Despite challenges in the home improvement market, Lowe’s delivered “better-than-expected” earnings, Ellison stated.
Following the call, he shared with The Charlotte Observer and other local media that he was pleased the company was in a financial position to reward store managers and assistant managers with these unexpected bonuses.
Store managers will receive around $10,000, while assistant managers will get approximately $5,000.
