The Future of FLYING CARS Is Here – Prepare For Takeoff In 2025!

It looks like the future the Jetsons imagined might be closer than we think! Alef Aeronautics, a Northern California-based aviation company, has unveiled its electric flying car, showcasing its capabilities both on the road and in the air.

At the Silicon Valley Auto Show, Alef introduced its innovative vehicle, and now, the company has released the first footage of it lifting off vertically. In a recent test, the black prototype drove normally on a California road before taking flight, smoothly gliding over another car.

This lightweight two-seater, a refined version of the Model Zero, boasts a 110-mile flying range and a 200-mile driving range. It features autopilot flight, eight hidden rotors for stable airborne movement, and four small motors for driving—though its top speed on the road is just 25 mph. Designed to be street-legal, the Model A also includes obstacle detection, glide landing, and a ballistic parachute for added safety.

With over 3,300 pre-orders already in, customers can reserve one for $150, while the full price sits at $299,999.
