An 86-year-old grandmother who came to the U.S. from Costa Rica and has lived in the same Altadena home for half a century is among those missing from the Los Angeles wildfires. More than 20 members of her family were displaced from the fire after seven of their homes were lost in the fire, but for days, all anyone has been able to do is ask just one question as they search through the ashen remains of the matriarch’s home, “Where’s Miva?”
