Jackie’s vision for EMP PRESS was born out of her own frustration with the limited perspectives presented in traditional media outlets. Given her unique background as both a journalist and an entrepreneur, she knew firsthand the struggles of trying to pitch stories that didn’t fit the mold of what was considered “newsworthy.” She saw an opportunity to create a platform that would amplify the voices and stories of underrepresented communities, and thus EMP PRESS was founded.
