Radio host @AngelaYee makes a bold move in the Detroit real estate scene, securing a 30-unit building in the bustling Midtown area. Yee’s vision? To dedicate 1/3 of this structure to serve as housing for formerly incarcerated women.
“It’s about providing a safe haven for those who truly need it,” Yee shared. “The battle for adequate housing post-incarceration is a struggle many face.”
Joining forces with Yee is @TheJasmineBrand and Dr @TopekaKSam the force behind Ladies of Hope Ministries, a non-profit organization dedicated to uplifting women post-incarceration.
Yee remains optimistic about the transformative power of the Midtown project. She explains, “If I’ve managed to carve my own path of success and financial stability, it’s only right I use my platform to uplift others.”
